The Mission:
We’re enhancing our AI capabilities to match students with jobs, training, scholarships, and apprenticeships using behavioral signals, profile data, and institutional priorities. We need a skilled AI developer to help build and scale this engine.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and train AI models to match student profiles to career pathways
- Build algorithms that learn from student interactions and feedback
- Integrate models into our no-code/low-code backend
- Collaborate with product and data teams on iterative testing and improvement
- Build explainable AI systems that are transparent and equitable
Ideal Experience:
- 3–5 years building production-grade ML models (NLP, recommendation engines, etc.)
- Proficient in Python, scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Experience with vector databases, embeddings, and LLM integrations
- Familiar with fairness, transparency, and explainability in education-focused AI
Bonus Points:
- Prior work with student or workforce development data
- Ability to deploy models into low-code platforms (e.g., through APIs or microservices)
- Knowledge of FERPA and ethical data handling in EdTech
